Bunyangabu residents raise concern about poor state of roads

The local residents of Suura cell in Kyamukumbe Town council in Bunyangabu district have appealed to the district local government for possible plans to extend good roads and electricity power deep in the villages to improve their living conditions and practical work like welding among the young people.

Franklin Musoka, the Kyamukube town council councilor representing Suura Ward was concerned about the poor road connectivity and lack of electricity that keep many areas dark in the night.

Dolice Nyambuthu, a resident in the area blamed the challenges to those she called absentee politicians who remember them only during political campaign.

Macklin Kabugho, the youthful lady who is eyeing the Bunyangabu woman MP seat, called for love, unity, peace, hard work and tree planting she described as life support systems.

She further urged parents to prioritize their children’s education for the future.
