Bunyangabu County Member of Parliament Dr. Victor Kalenzi has fulfilled his Shs6 million sponsorship pledge to the Tooro Pool Players Association (TOPPA), with the funds officially remitted through Fins Medical University (FMU) to support the association’s league activities.
According to TOPPA, the sponsorship funds have been deposited into the association’s account, enabling preparations for the ongoing league and reaffirming Dr. Kalenzi’s continued commitment to sports development in the Tooro sub-region.
The association noted that this marks the eighth consecutive season that Dr. Kalenzi has sponsored the FMU-TOPPA Pool League. The competition attracts participants from more than six districts across the Tooro sub-region.
TOPPA described the sponsorship as a demonstration of Dr. Kalenzi’s commitment to nurturing talent and promoting sports growth.
While handing over the sponsorship, Dr. Kalenzi reaffirmed his commitment to the sport, assuring players that pool would continue receiving his support.
TOPPA officials also praised Kalenzi for remaining a reliable partner in sports development, noting that his continued sponsorship has inspired players and strengthened the association’s efforts to expand the game across the Tooro sub-region.
