Victor Kalenzi, the NRM parliamentary flag bearer for Bunyangabu County, has called for unity among all party flag bearers in Bunyangabu district, emphasizing that cooperation is essential for peace and development.
Kalenzi made the remarks yesterday during the burial ceremony of Theopisa Nyanjara in Karambi 1, Lyamabwa, Kisomoro Sub-county.
Addressing mourners, Kalenzi reaffirmed his commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises and pledged to be an effective representative of Bunyangabu County in Parliament.
Also present at the burial was Peter Musinguzi, the NRM flag bearer for the Bunyangabu District LCV chairperson seat, who echoed Kalenzi’s message, urging party members to rally behind NRM flag bearers and continue supporting President Yoweri Museveni.
Musinguzi, who recently secured a landslide victory with 74.9% of the vote, highlighted his commitment to driving development in the district and strengthening party structures through inclusive leadership.
Both leaders emphasized that collaboration among elected officials and community members will be key to achieving tangible progress in Bunyangabu.
