Residents of Buheesi Sub County in Bunyangabu district have decried the shoddy works done on the recently constructed road in the area.
During the district council sitting held at the district headquarters yesterday, residents led by Nyemera Francis the Buheesi sub county Councilor who also intends to compete for LC 5 chairperson seat in 2026 elections, raised the concern describing the road from Lyengumba connecting to Buheesi sub county that constructors did not reach the needed percentage to satisfy their road network.
Nyemera stated that the district leadership promised to grade and put marrum on the road and insert culverts where needed but the road was shoddily worked upon and loopholes are seen by everyone.
He called upon the district leadership to intervene and ensure they deliver the needed services to the community to see the better use of tax payers’ money.
The district council speaker Kato Hussein responded that he ordered councilors to keep a blind eye to the previously discussed issues that everything will be fulfilled as planned.
