Authorities at Victorious Nursery and Primary School in Burongo, Rubona Town Council, Bunyangabu District have expressed their joy after emerging as champions in the district inter-school debate competitions.
The competitions, which took place at Rubona Secondary School last weekend on Saturday, attracted over 40 schools. Participants engaged in spirited debates on a variety of topics, including climate change, environmental sustainability, and industrial development.
The school head teacher, Mugarra Jackson, speaking to our reporter during a celebration party held in honor of the victory at the school, noted that despite receiving the invitation late and having limited preparation time, the team still managed to come out on top.
